Embroidery - The Uniform Factory

Embroidery

Premium, long-lasting stitched branding for uniforms, caps, corporate wear and more.

Embroidery gives your logo presence - texture, sheen and longevity. It’s ideal for business shirts, jackets, caps and garments that need a professional, premium finish. Below you’ll find everything you need to choose the right embroidered solution for your team.

What is Embroidery?

Embroidery is a permanent, high-quality technique using thread stitched directly into fabric. It’s versatile across materials (fleece, knits, caps, linen, nylon) and produces a durable, premium finish with texture and sheen that lifts logos off the garment.

  • Excellent durability - stands up to wash & wear
  • High perceived value - looks professional and premium
  • Wide thread colour palette for accurate reproduction

How is Embroidery done?

We use modern, multi-head, computer-controlled embroidery machines. Your artwork is digitised - converted into stitch data - and then sewn with high-quality viscose/rayon or polyester thread. Digitising is a specialist task and sets the foundation for a great outcome.

Digitising note: This is a one-off setup step that we keep on file for future orders.

Pricing (website rates)

Below are our standard guide prices shown on the website:

Setup (digitising) $55 (regular logos)*
Chest logos (per item) $8 - $12
Large back logos (per item) $20 - $35

*Simple text-only digitising may be less; very complex crests or heavy shading may cost more. Exact rates depend on final artwork, stitch count and volumes - request a quote for a firm price.

What is Embroidery good for?

Embroidery is ideal for:

  • Business shirts, polos and jackets
  • Caps, beanies and headwear (cap embroidery is a speciality)
  • Gifts, towels and monogramming
  • Small to large team runs - excellent longevity

If your garment has texture (e.g. woollen beanies) embroidery usually gives a far superior result to print.

Monogramming & Gifts

Monogramming (initials, names) is a specialised form of embroidery - perfect for robes, towels, caps and giftware. It uses the same stitching techniques and produces a very elegant, personal finish.

We can advise on fonts, size and placement for the best visual result.

Care & Durability

Embroidered logos are extremely durable. Follow garment care labels but in general:

  • Wash inside-out on a gentle cycle when possible
  • Avoid high-heat tumble drying where possible - hang to dry for longest life
  • Iron on the reverse with a pressing cloth if needed

Samples & Turnaround

Typical turnaround is 5-10 working days after artwork approval. Pre-production samples are available on request so you can approve look, size and placement before full production.
